What is shodai kitetsu?

Shodai Kitetsu is a powerful and legendary sword in the One Piece anime/manga series. It is one of the three cursed swords crafted by the legendary swordsmith Kitetsu, and is considered the strongest of the three. The sword is said to bring misfortune and tragedy to its wielders, and thus not many people attempt to handle it. Yet, its sharpness and cutting power are renowned by many. The sword is currently owned by the pirate Roronoa Zoro, who uses it as one of his three primary swords. Its overall appearance is decorated with a black hilt with a golden design and three rings which indicate its rank of Great Grade.
